MT FUJI

No trip to Japan is complete without Mt Fuji!

I think no trip to Japan is complete without seeing Mt Fuji :)

This highest mountain in Japan is located on Honshu Island and two popular spots to view/ go close to it are Hakone and Kawaguchi-ko. We chose the latter cause it’s less touristy and can be easily accessed by the train network - the JR Chuo line brought us conveniently from Shinjuku to Otsuki where we transferred to the Fuji Kyoko line and alighted at the Kawaguchi-ko station. The journey took us almost 2 hours in total but it was all worth it.

This was my window view as we had a late lunch - Mt Fuji at sunset :) Snapped by my phone and it’s already so unbelievably pretty.

I’m not much of a scenery person to be honest, but the sight of the snow-capped mountain, especially at sunset, filled me with so much awe.

Anddd… this is my favourite photo from the entire Japan trip haha. Everybody go holiday take nice, romantic pictures while my husband looks like he was forced to kiss me wtf.

In fact, this picture is so us that we decided to print this out as the main photo display for our bedroom (instead of our wedding photo lol).

After we took this photo, the husband asked Zach, “Eh want me to take a photo for you all not?”

And this was his masterpiece wtf. HAHAHAHAHA.

Rest of the Japan diaries here x
