Hi! My name is Flora and I'm an Instagram addict, military wife and digital #girlboss of social media consultancy, Project 24, down with a serious case of wanderlust. We work hard so we can travel harder...right?
I eat, breathe, live social media and would describe myself as the quintessential thirty-something female - I adore sparkly makeup, am a huge skincare junkie (I am OBSESSED with facial cleansers), do some yoga and am always on the lookout for the newest ice cream joint in town.
This blog was started some 15 years ago to chronicle my daily life and exciting misadventures, especially my years living in Thailand. Exactly one week after graduating from the National University of Singapore, I bought a one-way ticket to Bangkok... and have never looked back since. Those days in Thailand were the best (absolutely no regrets!) but I'm glad to be back in Singapore - where I fell in love with the most unlikely person at the unlikeliest of places, eventually marrying him and unknowingly became known as the military wife in the online blogosphere. We have a sheltie named Burger and are expecting Junior soon in September 2017!
Today, I shuffle between Singapore and Bangkok where my digital businesses and best friends are.
I love dogs, head massages, sushi, Christmas in NYC and when it rains on days I'm staying in. I dislike too much frosting on a cupcake, celery, disco balls and when it rains on days that I'm heading out. I am indifferent to pepperoni, broccoli and cats.
I write about my life, travels, relationship, baking / food adventures and other random musings - and hope that they make you smile, laugh, cry and think. Preferably all at the same time.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with several Singapore and international brands and travel collaborations and have shared about products and services across different categories, from lifestyle to beauty, fashion, food and travel. Some of my clients include L'Oreal Paris, Cetaphil, Sephora, IKEA, Hilton, NTUC and AirAsia. While this blog may now carry some commercial content, I still believe in sharing only products or services that I have tried and genuinely like, and would actually recommend to a family member or close friend.
