With reference to the previous blog post…
With reference to the blog entry below…
I’ve never considered myself to be an influential brogger - I have been writing in this space since my secondary school days. From my physics tests (which I have consistently flunked fml) to university life, graduation, living in Thailand and naturally to my wedding and married life.
I wrote the post like how I have always written about all my usual frivolous thoughts and definitely didn’t expect it to have the reach it did. Which explains why I didn’t even bother proofreading (gosh… I later found sooo many grammatical errors!) and it even had my full name on it -_-”
I published the post without thinking, went out and came back to 4576 likes on Facebook (it’s not say a lot lah I know, I already said I’m no brogger what) and now I’m a liiiittle worried cause it involves the boy’s occupation.
I’ve read and re-read the post… thought about “cleaning up” the language and even thought of deleting it altogether because I don’t want my husband to get into ANY kind of trouble or inconvenience.
To be honest, I don’t find anything wrong with the entry, but what I’m worried about is that somebody senior enough might have a different idea from me about what’s right and what’s wrong.
So here are some disclaimers (I hope it’s not too late!!):
The thoughts in the post below are entirely MINE, and do not reflect that of my husband’s, his colleagues, his organisation, his country and his father/ mother/ dogs and cats.
While there’s some truth to it, it’s really really REALLY (cross my heart and hope to die!!) just meant to be tongue-in-cheek.
Above all, I LOVE my husband to bits, am immensely PROUD of what he does and despite all the seeming grievances, I wouldn’t want to change anything because this is exactly what I signed up for when I agreed to be with him.
So please ah… don’t get my ah boy in trouble ok?
