Sailing on a red-sail Chinese junk at sunset
Suddenly I'm opening the flood gates to #allthingsthrowback but... I would like to think that it's me finally being productive haha.
(If you think that my face's starting to look different i.e. I look better now... then it's all thanks to Dr Tan lol)
ANYWAY, back to Hong Kong!
Sailing the Aqua Luna was definitely one of my greatest highlights of my trip and an experience I'll recommend anyone visiting Hong Kong. Especially if you're a sucker for cityscapes... like me!
They have afternoon and evening cruises but I highly suggest you go for the 45-minute Sunset Cocktail Cruise that starts at 6.30pm/6.45pm and sails the Victoria Harbour between Kowloon and Hong Kong island for you to enjoy the gorgeous skylines of both sides.
Tickets are priced at HK$195 (S$34) and includes a complimentary drink (though I wouldn't suggest alcohol cause it CAN get rocky onboard) and you can pre-book your tickets online.
One thing to note: Do not, I repeat do not, opt for fit and flare styles or anything remotely Marilyn Monroe-esque because it IS very breezy onboard... unless you plan to remain seated throughout the entire ride.
And miss the chance to get all celebrity-ish like my hot friend over here.
(She's wearing ClubCouture by the way!)
And yes, told you it can get rocky onboard. #hardworkingphotographerfriend #sopoorthing
