Erm, my bachelorette pad in NYC lol.
First look at New York!
Sometimes I still can't believe that I was really in NYC! Times Square, 5th Avenue, Grand Central Terminal, Central Park, Madison Square Garden... sigh.
Never thought that I would one day call Manhattan and these above-mentioned sights my 'hood but I literally did when I was putting up at the Archer New York.
Located on 38th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenue, Archer New York sits in the charming Garment District and is just blocks from the Theatre District, the Empire State Building, Bryant Park and Times Square.
From its quirky, curated luxuries to the stunning views of the Empire State Building from its Spyglass Rooftop Bar, this Midtown West boutique hotel is all about industrial elegance and essentially 22-stories of brick, glass and steel.
Sigh these photos are making me miss the place already.
The rooms are best described as intimate but luxurious, with five-star bedding, elegant black and white subway tiled bathrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light.
I stayed at the Archer King Guest Room and I particularly like how the wood floors and exposed brick feel of the room juxtaposed with the modern subway-tiled bathrooms... not to mention the frette robes, Malin+Goetz bath amenities and the nightly turndown service featuring local makers and house made treats.
While the Burke in the Box room service was really good (that could possibly be the BEST granola of my life), don't forget to make time for a meal (or two) at the David Burke Fabrick restaurant - in fact this place is a must-visit for anyone in NYC really, the bacon is DIVINE!
The Spyglass Rooftop Bar is also another attraction in itself.
Inspired by a bygone era of sophisticated elegance, this 22nd floor rooftop bar offers panoramic views of the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings - that looks unbelievably stunning both in the day...
And at night.
How lucky can I possibly get?!
