Who knew hipster cafes could look AND taste so good?!
True to my dedication to fuel Singapore's economy one hipster joint at a time, we decided to check out Boufe after seeing how insanely gorgeous the interior was on Instagram - where else, right?
This quaint BOUtique and caFE - hence the name, geddit geddit? - housed amidst the residences off Tanglin Road has one of the prettiest black and white minimalist interior that takes #interiorgoals to the next level seriously.
Like, how can menus look this good even?!
Then you see the back of the cafe...
And your heart just. kennot.
As for the food, I went expecting to get disappointed as with most of these indie establishments where quality and interior often do not come hand in hand, but these guys at Boufe really surprised me! The coffee was aromatic (strong and slightly bitter, just the way I like it), truffle fries generously topped with Parmesan shavings and the french toast, so so SO good.
We went there on a Saturday morning and I like how it wasn't too crowded... maybe cause of the slightly inaccessible location if you don't drive? But I love how private the place feels and I can't wait to be back!
