My fuss-free muesli parfait recipe!
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal in the day but sleep is also very, if not extremely, important to me.
So here's a fuss-free breakfast recipe that you can put together in a matter of minutes the night before and just grab and go the next morning!
Overnight, no-cook muesli parfait
I used the standard ingredients of muesli, greek yogurt, fresh milk and chia seeds for each of them but varied the fruits and sweetener to get different creations.

Strawberry and raspberry muesli parfait
Step 1. Assemble these supplies:
- greek yogurt
- chia seeds
- mason jars (I used the KORKEN Jar with lid from IKEA - only $1.90 each!)
Step 2. Assemble your fruits and sweeteners.
In this case, I'm using fresh strawberries, frozen raspberries and the SYLT HALLON & BLÅBÄR (Raspberry and blueberry jam $6.50) from IKEA.
Place the ingredients in the following order into the jar:
- chia seeds
And stir it all up!
Refrigerate overnight and garnish with fresh fruits if you'd like before serving!
Peach and Almond muesli parfait
Same steps as above except that I had replaced the fruits with canned peach and almond flakes and used honey as the sweetener.
Choco banana muesli parfait
Here, I added chocolate chips, sliced bananas and a good amount of the CHOKLADKROKANT BREDBAR (Chocolate butterscotch spread $4.90 from IKEA) and OMG, it was so so so so GOOD! Now, who said we can't have chocolate for breakfast?
I have also realised that they last a good 2 to 3 days in the fridge so you can batch make them over the weekend.
