I’m really very very very thankful for the amazing relationship I share with my mother-in-law!
The sweetest, biggest, juiciest strawberries I’ve ever had! Even better than the ones I’ve had in Japan… Which is near impossible cause Japan is food heaven.
You know, I’m really very very very thankful for the amazing relationship I share with my mother-in-law. We hear all these horror stories about MILs from hell and here I have, this wonderful woman who stocks the fridge with tons of fruits, yogurt, edamame and salad greens - something she has never done in her life because I’m the only person in the family who eats rabbit food wtf. And she does it not because I ask… But simply because she noticed.
Yesterday, she made a small salad as a side dish when we all sat down to dinner - nothing fancy, just organic lettuce and one sliced Japanese tomato with my favorite sesame dressing.
This morning, she prepared a picnic basket of sorts for me to bring to the office, filled with a watermelon slice, a sandwich, greek yogurt and the Royal milk pudding from Paris Baguette… to which she asked, “You like this angmoh pudding right? I don’t know what is this but I think I remember I see you buy back before.”
So thank you, Guy Up There, for blessing me with all these. I must have done something good my past life :D
