Spotted at Grand Central, bags in hand...
When I was planning my NYC travels, the bulk of my itinerary was planned around Gossip Girl. Yogurt on the steps of the Met, Henri Bendel, the Bethesda Terrace at Central Park where Blair and Chuck got married... I'm apparently not the only crazy one, there's even a Gossip Girl tour lol.
And of course where it all began,
I got the goosebumps just by being there. It was all full of grandeur like how the movies always make it out to be... almost magical.
"Spotted at Grand Central, bags in hand: Serena van der Woodsen" LOL
It's a fully-functional train station so you can expect it to be VERY busy... I went at noon and actually wished it was busier than this cause I wanted to capture all the movement. (Google now teaches me that the station is busiest between the hours of 2 – 6 pm). Also, nobody cares if you're taking pictures. There were many photographers on site with their tripods and all, and the staff and Marines on duty were pretty cool about it.
There are several food options such as Shake Shack (!!!!), Hale and Hearty Soups (go for the New England Clam Chowder) and the upscale Grand Central Oyster Bar. Don't forget to save space for Jacques Torres Ice Cream because...
Customised ice cream cookie sandwiches
