Mexican Soda with Real Fruit Flavors!

I don't know about you, but the weather has been so INSANELY hot lately... all I have been craving for these days is a fruity, fizzy drink with lots of ice.

I'm soooo glad that Jarritos is finally here in Singapore! Founded in Mexico in 1950 (!!!!), it is Mexico's 1st National soda and is also very popular in the US with 6000 bottles of Jarritos shipped across the border each minute :scream:

As the street drink of Mexico, it was specially formulated (with less carbonation) to make it easier to drink with street food, and it isn't too sweet!

Jarritos has a pretty extensive range of flavours - each reflecting their fruit flavours and Mexican origins!

All the flavours taste like the actual fruit e.g. Mandarin (which is Mexico's #1 flavour) tastes just like drinking an actual mandarin. Each flavour does represent their Mexican origins, and all the fruits are grown in different regions of Mexico, with only the best being used. :yum:

The very first Jarritos bottle ever produced already had jugs on the neck, was decorated with the 3 jugs logo, the name Jarritos and a slogan painted right below the logo: Que Buenos Son! and sealed with the old crown seals.

Today, their bottles still hold to that vintage feel – still in glass, embossed with Jarritos jugs on the neck and logo AND, it still has the old crown seal, the way sodas used to be – don’t forget the bottle opener!

They make gorgeous decorations to be honest! If I still have a wedding to plan, I'll totally keep all the bottles and put flowers in them as table centerpieces :)
