More about the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 aka do-it-all cream!
I think you guys should already know by now how susceptible I am to falls, cuts, grazes, insect bites and all sorts of accidents?
(In fact when I was in Bali with the folks and enjoying a romantic sunset by the beach, they all got through unscathed while I left with 17 mosquito bites DESPITE having a mosquito patch on....AND terrible sunburn zzz)
So these days, I have been diligently carrying around with me the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 which is this gentle cream great for eczema, sunburn, mosquito bites, chapped lips, cuts and grazes. (I had previously blogged about it here!)
I had also invited 5 readers/ friends from different walks of life to take up the 7-Day Cicaplast Challenge where they tried out the cream themselves for their OWN skin conditions and here are their results:
1) Female, 29
When I introduced this cream to my friend, he very excitedly told me that it is perfect for his "extremely accident-prone" girlfriend (why does this sounds so familiar haha) and true enough, the very same day I passed her the cream, she promptly used it on her pimple which has since healed considerably without scarring.
2) Male, 31
A long-term chronic eczema-sufferer, the Cicaplast Baume B5 has helped him to soothe the irritation and itchiness so the skin can heal without him feeling the need to constantly scratch it.
3) Male, 3 months
Obviously this 3-month old baby boy is not my blog reader lah (if not we have Einstein v2 already...) BUT HIS FATHER IS! The great thing about the balm is that the formula is so gentle, it is suitable for adults, children and even infants. This was used for a rash at his baby's neck and they now regularly use it for nappy rash and other weird rashes that babies often get.
4) Male, 30
Working in an air-conditioned environment, he often gets dry patches and he now keeps his Cicaplast Baume B5 at his office desk to keep this at bay. He's also a new father of a 6-month old baby so this nifty cream comes in handy too for his child.
5) Male, 28
This is a slightly different case - for the rest, they had all sent me the before/ after photos after 7 days of usage as per the challenge instructions. However, for this eczema sufferer, he had excitedly sent me the pictures after 2 days because - in his words - the wound actually cleared within 2 days and that usually it takes about a week for such a wound to dry up completely and heal.
I really highly recommend you stock the multi-repairing La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 at home for the everyday accidents such as insect bites, sunburn, oil splatter from cooking etc that can happen to us all!
