Of Frozen Hot Chocolate and hot dogs in New York.
It's like, in that moment, the whole universe existed just to bring us together.
I've got to admit, I'm a little slow - I only caught Serendipity last year when it's like the most romantic movie of like, I don't know.. all time maybe???
I cried so hard tsk.
So never mind that I almost died from the cold and the conmen of Times Square disguised as Spiderman and Strawberry Shortcake (saving this marvellous story for another time), we HAD to make it to Serendipity 3 for dinner.
One tip I've picked up in NYC is that 'em New Yorkers like to have their dinner late... how can 8pm be dinner time?! It's practically bedtime!!!! Haha so usually arriving at 630 or 7pm should score you a table at most places, except the fancy ones that require reservations.
For Serendipity 3 though, you might want to call to reserve the Star Table if you're a diehard fan of the movie - it's where Sara and Jonathan sat at and had their famous Frozen Hot Chocolate... which is exactly what we ordered.
It was so good.
Think of it as a thick Milo slush with lots and lots of cream mixed into it. The food was good too - we shared the Foot Long Hot Dog (with chili and chopped onions), not because we were stingy lol nor saving space for dessert, but simply because it's really a foot long?!
I do wish though that we could have saved some space for more dessert, the sundae the next table was having looked SO delish!
Lastly, you can do yourself a favour and skip the merchandise... I bought a couple of chocolate bars that looked like they were OEM-ed in China and well, they tasted like they were OEM-ed in China.
