Our last day in Japan!
Ohai!
I thought I’d have a dedicated post for our last day in Japan since I had one for our first day… it’s like coming full circle you know?
Feels a little bittersweet to be looking at these happy pictures tbh as I watch the boy play Magic wtf… he’s taking off tomorrow to the land of kangaroos and the next time I see him will be almost a month later when I visit :’(
So on our last day in Japan… we decided to head to Ippudo for ramen!
Only to find it closed :( :( :(
In Japan, a lot of shops close on 31 Dec to 2 Jan cause of the holidays, so keep that in mind when you plan your holidays!
Hotels are severely packed as well so book early!!!
Settled for takoyaki instead >.<
This was at Gindako! I’m glad to say that the quality at the Singapore branch (I’ve only tried the ones at Ion) are quite on par… just that in Japan, you have more flavours to choose from!
Me looking damn emo in the background wtf
om nom nom nom.. this was the regular green onion (?) flavour.
and this was mental (!!!!) cheese
Me and my obsession with Japanese tomatoes… this was served with pesto sauce. What a heavenly combination!
Walked around Roppongi a little when the boy decided he MUST have his ramen.
So we popped into some random ramen shop…
Then we took the train to Shinjuku to do some last-minute shopping and buy back a whole bunch of Tokyo bananas for our friends.
Last meal in Tokyooooooo.
Hamburg steakkkkkk! Do you see the cheese oozing outta the patty?!
The boy secretly snapped this picture and uploaded it on Facebook with the caption, “Ace onion rings at some random jap restaurant. Ignore wife looking at other table’s ice cream parfait.”
