My recent Tokyo trip would probably be my last in a while and I tried my best to do as much as I can! By that, I mean fitting in practically seven (!!!!) meals a day to make sure we get to check everything off our to-eat-list and with some shopping and sightseeing in between.

Here's what we did:

  • Shake Shack! The hubs wasn't too keen on this originally (it's just burgers, or so he thought) until he was blown away by the Shack Stack (as good as what I had in NYC) and the SmokeShack. You can give the concretes a miss though - they're wayyy better in the US.

  • After our burgers, we tried to walk off the calories at the nearby Meiji-Jingu Gaien which kinda reminds me of Central Park with the boulevard of trees and pigeons, pigeons everywhere.

  • Shibuya Crossing - I don't know why we go there every single time to "see Hachiko" but never ever take any photos with the dog. Didn't do any shopping this time round (unless you count checking out the food section at the supermarket at Isetan) but the magic of the busyness of the crossing, sigh, gets to me every single time.

  • Luke's Lobster - Our standard Harajuku rite of passage. The hubs LOVES it, I can't decide if I do? I'm starting to find the taste a little too light for my liking. But one thing's for sure, skip the crab roll. The lobster's wayyyy better.

  • 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria - This was recommended to me by my secondary school teacher and it was soooooo good. I love how you can customise your pizza and for me that meant lots and lots and lots of avocado which was very affordable btw!

  • Our favourite yakiniku - I don't know why this post is becoming all about food hahhahah! But anyway this is our favourite restaurant in Japan and we always end up having at least two, sometimes three meals here every time we are back. Which says a lot cause you aren't supposed to repeat meals when you're on holiday!

  • We also took a day trip to Hakone to visit the Hakone Shrine and Lake Ashi!

  • The last photo is actually my favourite photo from the trip which was taken by complete accident. We were waiting for the lights to turn green when I decided to turn to my left and saw that sight waiting for me. Quickly fumbled for my camera and snapped (which explains why it's kinda out of focus) but I guess this is what life is about? Fleeting moments.

  • Almost all my outfits this trip are from Tobi! They have some of the prettiest dresses for all occasions and they ship internationally to over 150 countries worldwide! Here are some of my favourites you absolutely MUST check out: Lei Lace V-Neck Ladder Trim Bodycon Dress // Alesha Cut Out Bodycon Dress // Angelica Keyhole Maxi Dress // Keep Palm And Carry On Day Dress // Take Me Higher Tie Dye Print Dress

Till next time! xx
