What Kind Of Travel Haven't You Had Yet?

7 years ago / Hidden

We all love to travel, in our own way. Some people like to stick close to home, and head out and about in towns nearby, sitting down in unknown cafes and on park benches. Some people like to go across country on roadtrips, finding all the hidden gems along the way. And then there’s some people who love to fly to the other side of the world, and they’re rarely seen off of a plane as a result.

There’s a lot of opportunities for travel out there, and you’ve probably only explored a few of them in your lifetime. So let’s think about the kind of adventures you should go on next, and make sure you move them right to the top of your bucket list!

Why not get your notebook out and write down some ideas for your next trip? (Source)

Have You Tried Island Life?

Island life is something a lot of vacation makers swear by, and for good reason! If you can pack and up and set off for some time away on a semi remote island, with plenty of sand and sea between you and the mainland, you’re going to feel more liberated than ever! So this is a good option for anyone who’s feeling trapped in the daily grind right now, and are just counting their pennies until they can get away.

The Caribbean, the smaller islands off of the coast of Scotland; whatever the climate you love, see if you can hire outa villa on an island.

Have You Gone on a Trip Back in Time?

And no, you don’t have to save up enough to invent a time machine either! Simply, if you’re someone who likes travelling and you’re looking for a new place to hit up, make sure you turn an eye to yesteryear. There’s all kinds of historical monuments across the planet, most of which can be accessed by the public, so why not make them your top priority for next time you jet off?

Machu Picchu in Peru, the Colosseum in Rome, the Met Museum in New York - the list just goes on and on, depending on the culture you’re interested in. Make a top ten list of historical monuments you want to visit and go from there.

Have You Tried Something Totally Out of Your Comfort Zone?

Comfort zones can restrict us a lot, seeing as we’re very unlikely to ever want to stray away from them and try something new as a result. But the more you’re willing to step out of your comfort zone, the more great memories you can make, and then come home to boast about with the rest of your family.

Whether it’s bungee jumping off the side of the Grand Canyon, or climbing Kilimanjaro when you rarely take your foot off of a car pedal, there’s an adventure out for you: companies like can really help you out with planning an excursion like this.

So, where do you fit in?
